Local Delivery Service

 In December 2020 we received a call from a couple of entrepreneurs who had just launched their first business, a courier company called DeliverEx. We love working with them so much and thought you'd like to know a little bit about this fantastic company you are supporting when you select Local Delivery at checkout 

CJ Luksch and Michael Casciano are college students born and raised in Buffalo, NY. They started DeliverEx to help small businesses save money on shipping their products to local customers.  However, they quickly realized there was more to it. 

CJ and Michael realized they can offer next-day delivery and allow the small businesses to compete with the likes of Amazon and Walmart!  Their goal now is simple...give customers every reason to shop small. 

Businesses loved it, customers loved it and DeliverEx was born. 

After just one month of operation, DeliverEx has been featured on multiple local media outlets such as Step Out Buffalo and Spectrum News for their dedication to giving small businesses an edge and helping the local economy

There you have it.  So you're not only supporting a local business (Thin Ice), you're supporting a new local start up (DeliverEx) AND that item or two in your shopping cart - it was probably made by a local artist so you're supporting them too.
