About Us
We opened
Thin Ice opened in March of 2006 to provide a place for local and regional artists to sell their work to the local community. We sell one of a kind jewelry, hand formed and wheel thrown pottery, handmade cards, hand blown as well as fused glass, hand sewn leather items, decorative wall art, kaleidoscopes, souvenirs, mugs, wind chimes, hand towels, cutting boards, books, baby items and much, much more!
We expanded
In 2011 Thin Ice expanded to have room to work with even more local artists making handmade gifts and art. We also wanted to be able to have store events to bring the artists and the Buffalo community together.
We keep growing
Thin Ice sells work by local and national artists. We have almost 280 local artists and almost 300 artists in the store overall. We are constantly meeting new artists to provide even more handcrafted work for you to choose from. We have something for everyone and absolutely love working with all the artists so stop in and have a look around!
